Timeline for the book

Hi everybody!
Thank you all for your patient At the time of writing all the materials are being proofread. We've attached a picture of the timeline for the book, so after the proofreading the book will finally be printed! :D
We actually wanted to print it earlier, but we weren't able to because the print house are having a long vacation during the summer. Early August was the earliest. All the dates are just estimates, but we'll do our best to stay as close as possible.
One last thing, we're actually trying to make the cover as fancy as possible and we're exploring if we can add some red metal folie. We'll post the metal samples in the next update :)

Final Reminder & Locking pre-orders

Hello everyone!
Thanks everyone who filled out the survey form we sent out for a while ago. Unfortunaly there are still 9 persons who still haven't done it yet. For you who have already sent in, you're good to go :) We've recently sent final reminders to them, and please check if the mail is accidentally in the spam/junk inbox. Look/search after BackerKit who are the sender. If you still haven't filled and sent back the survey within the coming weeks, we can't garantuee your name to be featured in the backers page in the book (only if you have pledge as Name Dropper/Philanthropist). The book will still be shipped to you, but maybe later than the rest depends on when you reply back the survey with your adress information etc.
We'll also soon locking all the pre-orders! Which means that for you who have made the pre-orders through the BackerKit's store, we'll start charging your pre-order in a few weeks since (The store never charged you when you made the order). So make your card account have enough money. We'll be charging towards at the end on June. Around after 25th June so you've got plenty of time to prepare.
Locking pre-orders means also that the pre-order store will temporary close all the buying options, so we can prepare and make sure all the current pre-orders are taken care of.

Mini update on reminders for adress and your name on backer's list

Hello everyone!
Here's a very mini update to remind people (9 in total) who hasn't replied to our survey yet. It's very important that you reply to us back if you forgot or hasn't received any mail from us. If you don't reply we can't ship the book to you, and if you have pledged as Name Dropper or Philanthropist we won't be able to add your name on the backer's page in the book. So please reply ASAP or contact us if you still hasn't reveived it yet.
A quick tip is to check if our mail has accidently been sent to your junk or spam inbox instead. Look after email from Kickstarter or Backerkit, we just sent the reminder today (May 1st).

Cover closed, surveys + Pre-order update

Hi everybody!
First of all, thank you all for sending in your picture to be featured on the book cover. As we wrote in our latest Facebook and instagram post, we can't promise who's gonna be featured on the front or back of the cover, but we're currently working on the layout and without spoiling too much, it will look amazing! We've attached a picture of everyone who contributed their picture to the cover :D
Since we're starting wrapping up things, we'll start sending out some surveys to our Kickstarter supporters. It's important if you've pledged in our Kickstarter, you need to fill in and send back the survey so we have your current adress when we'll send out the book, and your name on the backer's page (if you have pledged as Name Dropper/Philanthropist). So do keep an eye on your email this month :) As for you who made pre-order after the Kickstarter campaign, you won't get the survey email since your information is already gathered.
This also means that we've shortly close the option to pre-order the book as Late Name Dropper/Late Philantrhopist since we need to finish the backer's page. But the regular option will be open as long it's possible.

Hello everyone!
We hope everyone had a good start of the year. We the staff have been working for a while what to do with the cover art to the book. The one on the Kickstarter is just provisional, and we did had some big ideas before to maybe do a group photo with a lot of cosplayers from Scandinavia. But it has been hard to organize such an event, so we came up with an idea why not just let you send in your pic and we make a collage of it instead? It's more accessable for everyone and the cover art can be really gorgeous!
44 slots are open, and you can apply to be on the cover until 28th February, or until all the spots are filled. You can send in your photo to: [email protected], and write the topic as cover photo. Before sending, make sure to read and follow the quick guideline below:
1. Make sure to have some extra space around you in your photo so we have some wiggle room to work with when layouting it See example below.
2. We only accept photo of you in front view, Just like taking a photo to Passports or ID card, so no sideview or profile. See the examples on the picture below.
3. As before, make sure to send in your photo in high resolution (as big as possible in pixels), and that it has a clean background. Colors and some smaller details/patterns are OK, but too much or clutter is not. Your face must be in full focus. See examples on picture above.
4. Name the picture as before like when we opened the gallery (see below). And also make sure you've asked premission from the photographer to send in the photo.
