New Year Update. Sneak peak on the gallery!

Hello everyone!
We the staff hope you all had a great holiday and new year. We've actually been working during the holidays to catch up some lost work during autumn and winter and we're so excited to give you some sneak peak on the gallery that is shaping up real good! Thank you all who have provided your cosplay photos to us!
On other news, we the staff will soon have a small discussion on the cover art for the book and we have a neat idea how to feature a lot of you! :D We'll be releasing the news and information later on January.
And as you know since the we had our Kickstarter a lot of things have happened around the world; covid, the war in Ukraina and the economic inflation that have affected a lot of us. All that have also affected the production of the book (the work, cost to print, shipping etc) It shouldn't affect you all who have already pledged for the book. We want to be transparent that it's a concern of us on how we're working, planning and moving foward for the book to be released in 2023. So thank you in advance for being patient and understanding. We'll do our best to make this book as amazing as possible!

Small November update for our big gallery

Hello everyone!
Just a quick and small update for November. The materials to our big cosplay gallery is collected and it's ready to to be layout for the book! We still miss some photos from a tiny few people though, (they are alerted, no need to worry if you have already got an reply from us where we approved your pics for high resolution and naming). We'll be working hard and work even during the winter holiday to make sure to catch up some work and the delay from before.

Autumn news and update!

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the silence since summer. We understand that some of you might have been wondering what's been going on and why we haven't posted any updates. That is my fault, the editor in chief and I apologize. Like the rest of the staff, I've been very busy not only working on the book, I've been juggling between this and my studies/work at the same time. After summer I've got the internship of my dream on one of the biggest game company in the world, so I'm working as much as I can with the book whenever I have free time after work/weekends and holidays. I hope for your understanding.
So here's some news since last update. We got tons of great photos to our gallery! We thank you all once again who sent in your contribution to the gallery! It will be an awesome and jam pack showcase of Scandinavian cosplays! And a quick reminder that we also decided to expand the book with more pages so we can fit in all the entries to the gallery and our articles we're working on. We're also looking into if we can get a hard cover for the book for a reasonable price.
And for some other news, unfortunately because of time and scheduling issues, Elisabeth Erring won't longer be with the staff of the book. We're very sorry if some of you were looking foward to read her tips and tricks, we hope you'll find our other articles enjoyable instead.
Because of the expansion of the book and re-organizing the book, there will be a slight delay on the shipping of the book unfortunately. We're aiming to finish the book in spring 2023 instead for now. We're very passionated to make this cosplay book as great as it can be and don't want to rush or crunch just to meet the deadline and affect the quality of the book. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope for your understanding.
Here are some behind the screenshots of the book we're working on so far. There are still work in progress, so the pictures are not final. Next time maybe we can tease you with some preview of the gallery if you want a sneak peak? Let us know and do write to us if you wonder something, we'll do our best to reply to you ASAP.

Expand & re-open the Gallery + Panel at NärCon 2022

Two good news everybody!
First, the staff have decided to expand and re-open the gallery in the book! The feedback and pictures we got from you was overwhelming positive, we want to expand so we can feature even more cosplayers from all over Scandinavia in the book! The gallery is open until 28/8 2022. You may send in your own pictures, or if you’re at NärCon Summer 2022 you may take the opportunity to get shoots with their professional photographers Häggmyr and Zacharias and send in their photos to us. Second, we're going to have a panel at NärCon! Kei Mak and Henrik Pilerud are going to talk about the book, the content, the big gallery featuring cosplayers from all Scandinavia and more! The panel will be on 29/7 (Friday), 19:30-20:30 in the C-huset, C2 stage/room!

Gallery + NärCon Tickets update

First of all, thank you all for being patient with us. We have finally sent emails to everyone who are gonna be featured in the gallery in the book! Make sure to check you inbox, (or your spam/trash box) and get back to us with your high quality picture. In that mail we have also provided some guidelines on what and how to send in your HQ-pictures. If there's any trouble, you may contact us at [email protected] and we'll reply to you ASAP.
We have also sent out email to everyone who have pleadged with NärCon Tickets! Make sure to check your email (or spam/trash box). If there's any trouble, you may contact us at [email protected]
